RAID 5 configuration for DELL PowerEdge R710 Rack server


RAID 5  configuration
1.       Insert DELL Disk in CD/DVD drive
         Boot with the disk
        Go to Hardware configuration click on configure               

2.       In Hardware configuration select RAID and click RAID to configure

3.       Virtual disk configuration summary. Click on create virtual disk


4.       In create virtual disk choose
Controller onboard
Array disk all
RAID level RAID5


5.       Make it virual disk properties default then save settings

6.       Apply RAID configuration





**Note: Make sure Intel VT is enabled in the host's BIOS.
